    I've got the winemaking bug again!

    5 gallons Yorkshire Wine
    3 gallons general red (grape)
    3 gallons general white (grape)
    2 gallons Rose-Hip


    And maybe tonight I'll start (finally) my marigold wine (hoping for 2 gallons)

                Yorkshire wine is a wine-recipe I made up myself, with Yorkshire tea and other things (rhubarb, etc) that are commonly found in Yorkshire. The recipe is floating around on the forum, I believe.

                Marigolds this year will be made from dried petals I collected last year. I believe it will be a good one!

                    Oh yes, I did for a while. Didn't know what to make, and quite honestly, the stuff I've made only tasted so-so.

                    But.... That being said, I am currently filtering my yorkie wine. YUMMY! It still needs degassing, but that's on the cards for tomorrow.

                    I also started my marigold wine today. Just waiting for the yeast starter to do its thing, and then it's off as well!

                      Hey hi!

                      Got the bug again in preparation for NAWB.... I have stabilized, fined, filtered and bottled the white, the red and the marigold wines. The rose hip is done as well. The dandelion wine is being filtered as we speak, and I've tried out my new harris quick-filter bag. Let's just say, I need to work on my technique.

                      And then to celebrate, I started 2 1-gallon young's concentrate wines (Gooseberry and Elderflower). I started yesterday at about 4pm, and at 7:17 Monday morning, fermentation is already well underway in both wines.

                      To make matters even more interesting, I have to somehow find cranberry juice here in Germany for a fixed recipe wine.

                      Interesting! How exciting!!!

                          Just tasted a tea that I think I'm going to make wine out of:

                          Ingredients:
                          Carob, Cinnamon, Anise, Bramble leaves (sweet), cloves, peppermint, sweet wood root, fennel, cocoa rind, ginger, caraway, verbena, pomergranate shells and more bramble leaves (that are apparently not sweet).

                          It has a wonderful aroma, and the taste is lingering. I think I feel a wacky wine in the making... soon, very soon.
