Although this is not actually wrong it gets my goat !!

£195 for an Enolmatic you think. Bargain for someone. However it has no nozzle. As soon as you select the nozzle it proce rockets up to normal price.

Seen this a few times now.

What's wrong with using a funnel?

I will admit it is an expensive bit of kit, but 10 gallon jars are 70 odd bottles ....

Aeration. Which then leads to oxidisation. Apart from that, nothing.

Aeration before fermentation is good, afterwards isn't so clever.

It still splashes around a bit with an Enol Matic, but it's all under vacuum then.

I've never had to bottle a large quantity of wine in one go.
I suppose it depends on your storage methods. I tend to leave wine in barrels and draw off a bottle as and when required.

Agreed. This time I year I clear as many 1/2's barrels as poss ready for the new season.

I also enjoy blending so I bench test and then bottle a quantity.
