I only had two entries (not much room in suitcase) but they did pretty well. I took 1st in the dry red class and 1st in the medium white class.
The white wine also won Best Wine in Show. ![]() In the VWC I had three entries, which won two golds and a silver. All in all, a good day. ![]() I'll post some photos when I have time.

I entered both competions with the following results,
1st. Rose dry 2nd. Liqueur 3rd. Red medium 4th. Bitter Jean entered the Bakery class and came 2nd and got V H C for her Jam VWC results 3 Gold 1 Silver 3 Bronze 3 H M This was only our 2nd show, Doncaster in April was our first, we are dead chuffed. ![]() We both stewarded for the first time. Realy enjoyed it and learned a lot. I would recomend it to anyone wanting to learn more about wine. All in all a great day, thanks to all the organisers who put in lots of hard work but it paid off. I wondered how Karl managed to dance like that, it's his "Leg Ends" then according to Bob's post.

Thanks to everybody for your hard work in putting on the show. We both enjoyed it and I know Eileen and Frank did too. Much as it pains me to pay him a compliment, Richard's quiz was very good.
Look forward to next year's show. Jan x
