  • Any expereince with Kenridge Classic?

I'm thinking of trying a Shiraz kit. I am passing my local-ish supplies shop - Easybrew in Ringwood - who sell this by Kenridge (their Classic range), California Classic, and Beaverdale.

I'm trying to fill the gap left when the trap in the jar containing all of my 2007 home-grown red grape wine dried out .

And I've spent half the day with a mattock digging blackberry thorns out of my new vineyard-ette

    And I like Shiraz.

Right, that's sorted the justification. Does anyone have any opinions/experience of the makers above? (btw I'm not expecting this to be ready in x weeks)

I have made the kenridge kits, and find them to be of a very good quality.

Having said that....I'm a big fan of beaverdale kits too

Although I haven't tried the Shiraz kit itself, I've made a few California Classics, red and white, 6 and 30 bottle. I think they are very passable and I haven't had a bad one. None have been tremendous, all have been drinkable after being bottled for 6 weeks.

I've done a few Kenridge showcase, and they are good too.

      Hope that helps.

      Rich.

        Thanks Bob, Rich

I didn't make it to the shop on Thursday as the main road to Ringwood got closed due to an accident and my detour took me way past. I'll be back another day ...
