Youngs wine Buddy

are these kits any good or do you get what you pay for,
i was thinking of doing the merlot, should i?
can it be tweaked?
all thoughts very welcome

Well... I just bottled the Sauvignon Blanc, Wine Buddy, the other day....
Its the first time I have made it.
And I have to say, I am plesantly surprised.
A very nice quaffing wine.


Ages ago, I made the White Zinfandel, Wine Buddy... I gave quite a few bottles away...and everyone that I gave it to, loved it.

Not sure about the Merlot, though a friend has made it before. And he says the same.... a good red quaffing wine.

I think the fact that they are 7 day kits is a bit of a bonus.
I am not sure how much tweaking you could get in, in that time though.

I regularly do the chardonnay kit and reckon it is a really good value wine for every day.

I started wine making with the cab sauv wine buddy kit i got for fathers day, it wasn't bad but i should have left it to mature longer, but i couldn't resist trying my first attempt long enough. As for tweaking there really isn't much needed to these kits they come out fine as an everyday wine
