How is Vinters Reserve compared to Beaverdale, kenridge, and the others?

I have a Beaverdale Pinot Noir kit aging just now so I have just started a Vintners Reserve as a little step up in quality, however, I was sure the Beaverdale kit included oak chips ! Has anyone had experience of this kit ? I have about 30g of French medium oak chips which I could add to the secondary or primary if a speedy answer is met.
Given my cellar stock I should be able to hold out trying this one for minimum 6 months if oak in demijohns would be a better solution, should oak be required
