Bungs wanted

Hi all,

I have quite a large number of empty Scrumpy bottles I've collected, I've been wanting to use them for some small batches of wine and what not.

The problem is, so far I've only been able to use clingfilm and rubber band as an 'airlock' as I can't find anywhere to get the right sized bungs,

I'll pay a fair price if anyone has 4-5 of them to mail me

and a PET bottle grommit



insert one in the other (its a tight fit)

Thanks Zeb, good idea. Do you have a link to a site that sells both those items? I order from hop & grape online and they don't seem to have those items for sale

they prob do stock but dont put them on the website.

Bad crack here Zeb, I asked my auntie to get me some Optic bungs and PET bottle grommits at Hop and Grape, gave her list and money, she came back with optic bungs and H&G had said "dunno what PET bottle grommits are", so now I have optic bungs, 20 cider bottles and no PET bottle grommits FML

Heat up a small length of racking tubing in hot water and force it over the stem of your airlock, they will then fit the optic bungs without the other grommet.
