        Bob the 5 gal of wine #1 has been going for 19 days, do bigger batches take longer to ferment? I'm not going to rack it yet, just wondering

          Big as they say is beautiful!

          No they don't take any longer and in my expericne, more stable and less prone to wee beasties.
          Gluten free, caffeine free, dairy free, fat free – you gotta love this red wine diet!

            Each batch ferments at its own pace, trust in your hydrometer, if you leave it to do its thing it will reward you (the wine knows what to do)
