  • Pick your own grapes?

    Hello everyone.

Just letting you all know that if you happen to be passing Essex in the first week or two in October maybe you 'd like to stop off and pick your own grapes. We'll be looking for pickers, if anyone fancy a go we can pay you in grapes or money. Tea, Coffee and stuff provided, bring you own lunch.

Grapes are Chardonnay & Pinot Noir both have Sparkling & Still clones so take your pick. If you are interested then let me know and i'll keep you informed.

Ooh lovely! The grapes are looking very good so far, considering the poor summer they are ripening nicely.

For some reason the grapes are about 2 weeks ahead of last year . . . hooray! Just need things to stay dry'ish and warm'ish for a few more weeks. I've got everything crossed!

Tested the sugars today, the 777 Pinot Noir is at 73 OE & 11.5 g/l TA.
