  • Wine Bottles looking for a home

I'm moving my wine bottle stock to claret-style and need to dispose of my burgundy style bottles to make space.

30 green bottles - all pretty similar if not identical
    bot2.jpg

And/Or another 30+ green or brown, burgundy style but of different types (these are mostly heavier style bottles, some have coats-of-arms, etc, in the casting)

All 750ml, used for homebrew, washed, de-labelled and have been sterilised (but need to be again before use). All cork closure, no screw-tops.

Free, no charge, gratis, for nothing.

Collect only and bring your own box/crate from Bedford.

I'll probably take them to recycling if I don't get any takers by May 15th as that's when I'll need the space.

    Hi Toulouse!

I'm in north London but willing to drive to sunny Bedford to help with the recycling campaign!

I'm off on holiday until 2 may but free between then and 10 may to oblige!

If you can retain at least 30 to make it worth my while that would be appreciated. If that's ok, pm me your details and I'll also throw in a bottle of my grog for your troubles!

Dear Mr Owl, do you want them all? If you're pouring diesel into this recycling effort we should get the most out of it for the planet's sake! Happy to close the offer and sort out a collection date with you after May 2nd.

No panic, but I'm not sure that my PMs are working. I've sent a couple of messages to Mr Owl - but nothing shows up in my sent messages folder. If you've got them, maybe you can let me know?

I had the same problem. At the bottom of the PM send message page is a list of options and one of those is save a copy of message to sent message box or something like that. That box needs to be ticked. I think you can set this to be permanently ticked in an options page somewhere.
