Looks like it is comming along nicely. When the Specific Gravity reaches 1.000 or lower rack to a clean primary - degas, add finings and sulphite tablet and then rack back into the clean DJ or carboy. It should become completely clear within 14 days and you can then rack to clean DJ'S for ageing or try and drink young. Don't expect great flavors at this young age. Cheers DAW

              Hey Valleydaz,

What is in those four bottles on the right? I noticed there's no airlock or stopper, just what appears to be cotton balls. Is it just the bits that didn't fit in the demijohns or something else?

Steve this is a new and less costly measure instead of the air locks and when the top is to small for a rubber bung. Should keep the fruit flies out and let the CO2 escape? Cheers DAW - What ya think?

                  Thanks for replies,

Yes those four bottles were just what was left over and also to use for topping up after racking.
I now have only two left after first racking.

Hi valledez looks good, and i love the shape of your demijons. Is that a standard shape in the netherlands and are they one gallon capacity or more than that?
