Many variables with this one, just make sure that there are no preservatives in them (pottasium sorbate)

    1 tsp Pectolase
    1 tsp nutrient
    yeast

Emptied juice into Demi up to the 3/4 gallon mark, add pectolase, alter SG up to around 1080/90 ish, add the nutrient and yeast leave to ferment in demi (with airlock) after 3/4 days top up with the grape juice, ferment out, should be ready to drink within 8 weeks.

I was thinking of making a supermarket juice wine using orange juice and white grape juice, but was wondering will the O.J introduce any problematic acidity that I should worry about? Or should I just proceed as normal

Shouldnt be too much of a problem if you use only 1 litre per gallon.

Taste it once its mixed....before ferment.

Thanks Bob, your right, I doubt it would be a problem with only 1 litre

Better to be safe then sorry, I worry too much lol

Hi, bit of advice for a novice please, made a cranberry & apple one of these on the 30.7. Airlock has stopped bubbling, so I assume it's "fermented out".

Could someone please let me know what the next stage is, is it just bottling up or do I have to add campden tablets or something else?

              Thanks,

              (Novice) Alison.

Alison, my advice is to not assume anything. Take a proper reading with your hydrometer (a winemaker's best friend). That's only way to know if it has finished fermenting.

If it has indeed finished, then clearing is the next step.

Hi, Once its "Ferented Out" (to be sure take a SG reading and it should be the same reading over 2 - 3 days) then add stabilising & campden tablet, you then need to let the wine clear before bottleing.

Have a read here: Read Here

And also have a read of the tuts as well - lots of info there: Tutorails

Thanks guys, I have done a lot of reading, but still not got the confidence to "go alone" yet, will do a reading later.

                    Thanks again.

Hi Lockwood. Isnt this pretty much a wine no 1 with a higher Grape content. If so what advantages has this. Im presuming more bodied?

Its just a different flavour profile, to be honest I think the Wine No 1 is a nicer wine (less is sometimes more)

                        regards
