looking good, but for information for all ...mead cider is in fact called "Cyser" important to get the terminology right to save confusion

      hope this helps
      regards

              Update on the Elderflower wine.
I havn't tasted it but it had finished fermenting now so i racked it into a new DJ added yeast stopper and a campden tablet. This is going to be bulk aged for till around the summer, i think i may make this a sweet wine.

                        11th commandment...loose not thy marbles!

I think the 11th commandment is "loose not thy marbles', Moses was not a winemaker or he would have certainly advised God on this one.

If you like the taste of your wine without adding water, then add sterile marbles to your carboy. Thus increasing it's volume without diluting the wine. Of course the size of the carboy and the number of marbles becomes an issue.

Well its been a while but just an update, the Cyser (Apple Mead) was the best drink i have ever made... No, ever tasted. All my friends wanted to buy the bottles off me but i managed to consume everythign except a magnum bottle i have.

I was completely stunned bye this and it has spurned me into different types of meads, really looking forward to the outcomes.
