    And here it is after 5 days -SG has dropped to 1012 so its time to rack

        During the racking I added 2 1/2 teaspoons of heading agent to assist in producing a creamy head on pouring from keg

        And here it is readiy to sit for another 7 days before priming and adding to the keg

          And here it is kegged and primed with 2 ounces of sugar



          It will sit here in the warm kitchen for 5-7 days then I'll move it to the cool garage to condition for about 4 - 6 weeks

          I'll post when I've poured the first pint

            Well I ditched the King Keg as it must have had a leak!

            transferred in to my newly acquired Corny Keg with CO2 and Nitro mix

            And here is the result of all the hard work - tastes awesome

              Bought the grains pre ground but I had to crack the roasted barley myself.

              Building myself a kegerator set up over the coming months - I'm aiming at four corny kegs, two with nitro and two with CO2


              really getting the brewing bug
