Oh yes I have had that in barrels - it seems to stick the sides and is a bugger to get off. I so what to some up with something useful here, but I don't think even vigorous shaking will help.

... compete madness - what about this.
Chill whole bottle almost to freezing point. This will help the wine hold some of it fizz.
While waiting INVENT a bottle shaped 'squeezey' (like used on car windows).
    Sterilize it.
Open bottle GENTLY loosen them all with said invention.
    Reseal.
    Invert.
Allow to settle and then freeze neck. etc etc

Right - I'm off to the shed to invent something

Or ... maybe I'll just open one where nobody can see the crystals. If they see them, I can just tell them it is some newly-invented synthetic alcohol powder

After some thought I have come up with some more Ideas!!

        a. Bigger labels (whole bottle sized - after all it will probabaly not pour out)

        b. Sterilize your bottle brush. Use method above

        c. Purchase >>> http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-pairs-LARGE-...item35a5f54e2d and distribute to drinkers.
