Discounts for Wines at Home members :
Who counts for discounts ?, well all active members count that have a minimum of 25 posts and have been active on the site within the last 3 month's.
This is to prevent people who are not active or join purposely to receive discounts.

    How will the discounts work:
Wines at Home members will receive 10% discount on prices at my internet shop
www.hobbywinesupplies.co.uk on all products, excluding those already on offer (highlighted red in the shop) and wine/beer kits, unfortunately I can only offer 5% discounts on kits.
When you leave the checkout area there is a comments box for you to leave additional delivery info, please put you forum username and the email you are registered on this site with (as well as additional delivery info if needed) the reason for this is to prevent non members using your usernames to receive your discount entitlement. If you do not leave this info the order will be processed as normal and you will not receive discount. Please also note the payment system will not show any discount whilst checking out, this is something I have to do whilst capturing payment, it will however show the discounted amount on your PayPal statement, I will also email you with the reduced amount & a breakdown of the discount.

    Delivery costs:
To try and prevent people being charged full delivery costs for small orders I have split delivery to flat rate for orders under 1kg, these will be sent by royal mail standard, for orders over 1kg and up to the value of £60 will be charged at £6.50, I have endevoured to find the cheapest courier service, even at 6.50 I am subsidising that to be competative to other on-line suppliers.
Orders over £60 will receive free shipping.
For local delivery check out the shipping and returns part of the shop.

Please do not hesitate to contact me either by PM through this forum or via the CONTACT US part of the shop, I am open to suggestions regarding supplies you may often buy that I don't stock.
    Thanks again for your support.

    Karl

        Hi Karl:

        couple of quick questions.

        1. Do you sell better bottles (couldn't find them on the site)
        2. Kampervan mentions a 65ltr fermenter which he bought from you. Again I can't find it.

        regards

          Feedback

I would just like to leave some feedback for Karl. And just to put this in context I don't leave much feedback on ebay (only for v good exceptions) based on the fact if I buy a packet of fags in Tesco I don't leave feedback everytime either!

Karl's HBS is great. Good selection. You can't beat the prices on ebay. And very very good email/comms about whats going on with you order.

My local HBS is quite frankly rubbish. I say local it is 20 mins drive. Lovely chap, but never has the stuff I need - even if he's had it before. I have never managed to get everything I went for. Quite frankly it's not worth the diesel!!

Thanks Karl you are dong a great job - keep up the good work!
Gluten free, caffeine free, dairy free, fat free – you gotta love this red wine diet!

No longer better bottles, but the new type is just as good, 65ltr buckets are not on the web site as I tend to only get them in once a year (gfest) and they are a tad bulky to send by courier.

                Hi Cellar Rat,
I agree with you, however one point to for the less confident, If you cannot find it in the shop, ASK, Karl can always order it for you and the cost is very reasonable.

                  Hello Mr Beer,

I was looking for oak, going to make some of the Bill Smith recipies, but you don't seem to have any on your site, in fact there isn't a huge amount accross a few sites. I wanted a few bits and bobs from you, oak being one of them, so just thought I would double check in person.
                  Thank you kindly,

Had to remove the oak due to running out, though do still have some French heavy toast and American white.
Send me a PM and let me know what you want.
