      I'm an Enolmatic Expert

I borrowed Rich's for a while. He didn't even shout at me when I broke it

I'm wanted to buy the filter kit but the bank wouldn't let me remortgage the house

Doh. Too much too early.. and not reading properly.

Mine got used a lot last night. Got an Italian Brunello bottled, along with the Grenache from grapefest. 70 bottles on the bottle tree to all being filled and corked within an hour, I had help on the corking machine. I'm now running out of room to store it all!!

                  They ain't cheap!

Dunno how much the people that goldseal linked would charge (couldn't find a price list on the linked site), but here's a quote :

                  HOMEBREWWALES PRODUCT
                  AND PRICE LISTING

ENOLMATIC AND TANDEM FILTRATION AND BOTTLING
ENOLMATIC VACUUM BOTTLE FILLING MACHINE £240.00
TANDEM FILTER HOUSING FOR USE WITH ABOVE £136.00
WASHABLE FILTER CARTRIDGES FOR TANDEM 1 MICRON £64.00
OTHER GRADES 0.5 Micron to 10 Micron available to order
STAINLESS STEEL EVERLASTING CARTRIDGES VARIOUS FROM £180.00
SPECIAL CLEANSER FOR BACK WASHING CARTRIDGES £7.00
NOTE. The filters cannot be used without being connected to the Enolmatic filling machine, unless a separate pumping device is used.
Contact Sales for detail of transfer pumps
It does look expensive, but as I've found, with a couple of other accessories it's a very useful device (powered, filtered racking for instance).

Hope that give you some idea......

                  regards

p.s. and no I'm not in Wales, but these people are one of the few HBS who seem to list them (I'm sure others keep them, it's just that I couldn't find them....).

Well it's just a case of whether the price is justified.......

If you have the accessories, then they're unbelievably handy machines. Not just for bottling, but the racking and filtering ability is something to behold.......

If you have enough use for one.

                        regards

p.s. Or, if like me, you do your homework and then have a very good hunt around, you might get one as cheap as I managed to last year (£200 for the bottler, filter housing and 1 micron filter element). Erm there was probably a certain amount of luck and "right place, right time" to it as well!
