Lindemans 45 Cabernet Sauvignon for tasting

I don't know how but I completely missed the announcement about Sunday until today. I tried the small-town Morrisons, Co-Op and wine shop (a Thresher in disguise I think) with no luck - the Thresher came closest, five other Lindemans but not the Cabernet Sauvignon.

Can anyone suggest a place to buy the wine from? I pass a Tesco, Aldi and Lidl on the way home, and can get to a Sainsbury's, Netto and proper Thresher tommorow.

The Lindemans cab sauv is for the July 19th meeting, so you have a bit of time yet.

Tesco in Ponte carry it, as do morrisons, if you cant find any, ill post you some...let me know

Very true, somehow I read that as Sunday June 28th. Was panicking, thought I was going to miss yet another one, phew!

I'll have a look around the Tesco, it's bigger than the Morrisons so they're more likely to have some.

I purchased one and put it away for the July meeting, but it seems to have turned up missing.

The missus went to visit her sister for the weekend. She said she was going to grab a bottle or two to take along. I suspect one of the bottles she "grabbed" was my Lindemans.

Guess I'll have to put the next one under lock and key.

If the Alamos Malbec that Richard first mentioned is easier for Zeb to find, I have one of those as well.

Hi, I cant find this wine either.. only the 2007 at £7.05 a bottle.. is this ok 2 use or are you gonna have a different bottle?

Lindemans is mass produced with consistency in mind. I honestly don't think you'll find that much variation from one vintage to the next. I've had bottles from 2005, 2006, and 2007 - they all taste about the same.

None at the Asda, Tesco, Co-op or Morrisons near me. I still have to try the Sainsbury's on the other side of town, so all is not lost yet. Also, I have been informed that it's my sister-in-law's birthday celebration on the south coast on Saturday, so I might not get back in time anyway - but it does give me more wine shops to look in
