  • Were to buy Cabernet Sauvignon grape vines from

    Hi all,

Can any one tell me were I can buy Cabernet Sauvignon grape vines from as it seems you have to buy 25 from http://www.winegrowers.info as I’m only looking for 4 or 5 to go in my polytunnel on my allotment.

    Hi fred

I have a vine that will need pruning soon, you can grow new vines from the cuttings if you want me to keep them for you?

Is cab sav a good vine for the UK? Thinks? what about root-stock with cuttings?

                I was wondering this, too.

You could probably get it to grow easy enough, but what about ripening of fruit? Cab requires a long growing season with plenty of heat and not too much rain.
