  • Grapefest Order List

Posted this here to keep track easily of who wants what, rather than it be in a different thread and spread about

I Will open an account so people can pay monies ahead of time as I simply cant afford to buy all the grapes and wait for the money this time. (sorry, been a heavy year)

Can I go with 3 boxes of Ciliegiolo and 2 of Merlot if available (and I am not too late).

Also - Bob you mentioned B&B addresses. Would you be able to advise.

Do you have the account details yet?

          Transportation sorted!

Didn't think I was going to manage it at under the £1 a box level, but I did (just) they should be arriving 9am Saturday 25th September.

Pricing very similar to last year (although prices fluctuate throughout the month...)

Will be approx £6.80 per box
            Transportation £1 per Box
set up/Gear usage/time/phone calls 50p per box (hope everyone is ok with this, it takes a lot of setting up, and it also covers wear and tear on my gear)

Agree totally.... only 80p a box more than last year (i think....) That's good going in light of the current economic climate. Nice one Bob! BRING IT ON!!!

A couple of people have asked how to send money via Paypal as a gift, I would guess thats its Bob's prefered method as this way he wont have to pay any Paypal charges and gets the full value of the money sent.

Paypal have a limit of £100.00 per gift, but I would guess that if you have to send more then £100.00, say £130 in total, then just send a gift of £100 + another of £30 and therefore avoid any Paypal charges.

                      Picture 1:
Log into your Paypal account and click on the Tab marked "Send Money"

                      Picture 2:
Fill out the email address of who you want to send money to and also the amount, Lower down the screen is a Tab marked "Personal" click on that and also make sure that the money is being sent as a "Gift" double ckeck that all the details are correct and then click on "Continue"

                      PIcture 3:
Review all the details are correct, if you want to send a message with the money you can do this further down the same page.

                      Picture 4:
Fill out any message that you want to send with the money, again double check all the details are correct and then click on "Send Money"

this is an acceptable way to send it, so it doesn't cost me ....

                          Hello!

I came across this site after doing a search on Google after being fed up with reading wine making forums in the US and fed up with the fact that there are no wine circles near me in Middlesbrough (as far as I know, anyhow). I've been having a look at the posts and it is such a relief to see you guys and seeing what you do.

I've been making wine for about a year (mostly from dried Elderberries) which I don't really find fulfilling, and would love to move on to make "proper" wines from grapes, however I've been desperately looking for help, and alas, I'm hoping some of you guys could help me.

I've been reading up on your Grapefest that you have each year down in Knottingley and I'm really wanting to come down on the 25th to meet with you guys as I desperately want to speak to other people about winemaking rather than making wine, messing it up, and learning from my mistakes. Life's too short!

Anyhow, if any one is going to Grapefest this year, I'll be really interested to know if I can tag along with them as I will be going alone!

                          Cheers guys,

                          Dan, 22, Middlesbrough
