I plan on extending the grapefest event next year......
To include educating the palate talks, demonstrations on basic winemaking and winemaking equipment, and other topics as yet undecided.
At grapefest this year, we did a little of this, but because there is much to do, and it all happens on one day there is little time, so....
the plan is for grapefest next year to start on Friday (late morning perhaps to allow for travellers to arrive) with talks, tastings, educational sessions, and whatever it evolves into, but with a chance also to socialise without really heavy drinking, so we all get to know a little more about each other (heavy drinking to start much later than on the sat)
Saturday would be that same as now...process the grapes (late morning) socialise and then soicialise some more....however this year, more help will be required with clean up
Sunday am could be general socialising over brunch and theraputic tea and coffee
for those that could nmake it, we could have a curry on the thursday night at the wonderful ruchee in knottingley
everyones thoughts much appreciated
regards
Bob
