Will it fill demijohns? I can get 28 in my old freezer, which I intend to keep at constant temperature when I get round to it.

Filling half a dozen bottles, as and when I fancy a wine, would take me about two minutes, so they say! I don't believe it. They are not really worth the money unless you are doing quite a lot at one go?

I sat exactly where you were. can't be that easy, is expensive.

Probably less mine fills a bottle of about 16 seconds - just enough time to cork it and pick up the next bottle.

I had a good siphon setup and couldn't see the point.

I now have one. They are BRILLIANT I (now) normally do 50 - 60 bottles in a run. I have not yet tried it for beer.

They are the perfect example of "and wouldn't want to be without it now I have one"

                This is a bargain!

                        That's just greedy!

I must confess to being tempted though...

ps Give beer a go Brian, It works a treat. Just make sure you put a pair of tights over the intake or you'll be unblocking the venturi on it.

As Beer is quite foamy, I wondered how well it would do. Do you end up with a lot in the reservoir?

from a 5 gal batch I have about half a pint in the overflow by the end. Trick is to fill more slowly (open the vacuum tap a bit) and to make sure the fill hits the side of the bottle on the way down. This seems to reduce foaming.

                              Good idea.

My thinking was I would need one for beer and one for wine. to avoid cross contamination.
