  • terrior and other myths of wine making

I am in the process of reading a book with the title of this thread. He debunks terrior as the main reason for quality. He also debunks the fact that vines have to struggle to produce quality wines. Most importantly, he states that limiting vine output has no bearing on quality. And the truth shale set you free!

      Hi Cellar Rat,

The author is Mark A Matthews and the correct title, which I got wrong in the first post, is Terror and Other Myths of Winegrowing. I found it through myth Kindle app. He looks at previously unchallenged and strongly held beliefs in a scientific way and shows why they are myths and how they came about in the first place.

Do you grow grapes? If so how do you manage moulds with the lack of fungicides available for gardeners?
