Hi Hippie, the beer inside is just sugar primed, so I'm sure it would be Ideal for sparkling cider or wine for that matter, hmm never thought of useing it for anything other than beer, good idea!.

Proud as punch.

My Chardonnay is bottled and tasting good, i'll reserve six bottles untouchable for a while and drink the rest, this is a Solomen Grundy Gold Chardonnay kit. Not the best wine I've tasted but easy to drink, cheap and saves me drinking my reserves, lol.. I must admit real easy to make, the instructions are clear and basic, fast turnaround time ( box suggests 7 days but takes a few days more in this cold weather). Great choice for a first time wine maker who has not yet tasted a real fruit wine. Anyway I was so pleased I took a pic...

Shrinkwraps from Brewking in Bradford, labels are from http://www.freelabelmaker.com/free_label_winelabels.htm
Printed on plain 90g paper, cut out and stuck on with milk, nice n easy to remove when reusing bottles.

Duffbeers upgrade.

Well it seems the winemaking bug is sticking with me so I've decided to make full use of my cellar, do a little work and start to bulk age.cell1.JPG

cell3.JPG

It's a bit of a mess as I've never done anything with it in 12 years, a good scrape and brush down and a coat of fungicidal wash to start.
I have to laugh at this point as I noticed when you run the curser over the last pic i have labeled it fat QUACK!QUACK!QUACK!QUACK! but the promp then states "enlarge image" lmfao

A little help from someone who regularly drinks my stock, she's doing a great job (mainly due to my supervision of course.

Organisation at last, I can now let the wife have the utility room back (within reason of course) I still use it for 5 gal brews.
