Here is my blog about making wine from cheap, easily available apple juice from supermarkets. There are simply endless options with this stuff, so I am going to try some of them and write about them here. All my batches are trial batches in half sized demi johns taking 4 pints or 2.25l.

First up is as straight and simple as apple 'wine' can get. Ingredients thus:

2l apple juice
Yeast and nutrient
Bentonite
Water to 2.25l

Essentially this is a still cider but I'm not getting into semantics so it's all gonna be wine to me. The purpose of this trial is to see what straight fermented juice comes out like. I'll report back when I know!
