Might have to give it a go.

Bottled my 12 litres and priming each one differently, must admit they taste great.

make sure you give it a good shake after adding the turbo. it may take a while to dissolve the honey but you will get there in the end
Sorry for the silly question, but I've never primed anything-so how much honey should I add per 750 ml bottle, and how long should I leave it before it is fizzy?
          Thanks!

              Ms. Spain;

Honey is not one of the better sugars to consider using for priming. Corn sugar (dextrose) will be the best commonly available sugar for this purpose.

3/4 cup for a 5 Imp gallon batch is just about right.

i have had great success with priming with honey.
i use 1.5 times the amount i would if i were using sugar

What's this like, Aqua? Lidl's pear juice was very thick and not very good for fermenting, The tinned pears worked well but taking an age to clear

                      Mamgiowl Hi,

I have just finished a turbo pear, it is only 2 days old(bottled) , but my tester/sample bottle l tried did not do much for me.
May be leave it a week and try again.
The packs l purchased had pear pulp included with the juice.
Not 100% sure it works with pulp added.
May stick with the apple juice.
That works really well for me.

                        Hi DD
I found the same thing with the juice, but the tinned pear is really lovely. I'm going to rack it again today and add finings so hopefully it will clear. Otherwise there's always the filter I suppose

                          Turbo Pear.

                          Hi
                          Mamgiowl,

Another day on and the pear juice does not look much different. Cloudy with bits of fruit/pulp on the bottom of the bottles.

                          Tin sounds like worth trying.
                          Thanks,
                          D D

We've just started our turbo, never ever made cider before, can't wait.

How long does it last after bottling? Assuming it doesn't get drunk immediately that is.

Would adding suphite allow it to keep for longer?

                              Ian & Patricia,
You will need the experts to answer you on the technical aspects.
I only drink it, or swallow it.
But you will love it, sure 100% ,
For me it only last 48-60 hours, so do not know if it is any good after that .
30litres gone in gulp, WOW, brew some more is my cry, and make it snappy
