Good job on the ale. I keep meaning to get round to making some of that Summer Ale. Perhaps on Sunday I'll get started.

will just wait and see. mines a lidl too, took some fiddling to get it to correct temps first go was only 60 deg have turned collar 1 and a haLF TURNS TO GET IT TO BOIL

well first go made some basic mistakes. not enough water in mash tun. basically got the math wrong for losses.forgot grain absorbtion. then took gravity reading and didnt correct for temp. but boiling away happily

fementing away now but 1.067. ah well at least i know for next time. later in week

so4 and yes batch sparged but forgot temp correction for hydrometer reading so added 2lb sugar. wont do that again, but will have another go at brewing next week
