Is it me? I have read a lot about no aeration and a great desire for clear wort - from the mash tun.
Surely this is all hokum?
Clarity at this stage?
When the stuff is still going to be boiled, chilled and then fermented - nice but not essential surely?
No aeration during sparging? Ditto! Don't we all blitz our fermentables with a power drill & a paddle to get some air in before pitching ??
