  • what bottles?.

    could anyone tell me if using pet 500ml pop bottles are ok for my beer kit.

      Thanx for that, i make ribena and lucozade for a living so ive a life time supply of bottles, just checking they was ok.

              Well ive been told about this, is it as good as im to believe, i make ribena lucozade and sport allday every day, so my supply of it is endless and as been for 15 years or more. do i realy want to bring my work home and do it at home aswell..

                If they are clear bottles, you need to keep them out of the light when they are filled.

                  Beer won't keep as long in PET bottles but it will keep long enough for most people. If you plan on keeping some for any more than 3 months then i'd use a few heavy brown glass bottles.

                    I see you work at Beechams. Bit cheeky but any chance of some PET bottles.
                    I live in Lydney so collection is no problem. Perhaps you could also point me in the right direction as far as Lager kits are concerned.
