If they are clear bottles, you need to keep them out of the light when they are filled.Comment

Beer won't keep as long in PET bottles but it will keep long enough for most people. If you plan on keeping some for any more than 3 months then i'd use a few heavy brown glass bottles.Comment

I live in Lydney so collection is no problem. Perhaps you could also point me in the right direction as far as Lager kits are concerned.
