In my dining room I have a nice cool cupboard for storing my keg of beer. The latest brew has just matured enough to start drinking, and was very nice apparently.
On getting up this morning I discovered a very wet floor and an empty barrel.
He who shall be nameless had left the tap dripping!
At the time of writing he is still alive, but not sure of his long-term future
Mind, he's going to be very busy clearing up the mess

But surely in the near future it'll be something to make you laugh, drag him kicking and screaming to your nearest HBS and make him spend an obscene amount of money on you

Beer wastage is a crime against humanity Somesort of drip tray might be advisable in the future, at least you could then make him drink what he wastes

I'd be pointing that dastardly person towards the door. While he is gone, I woudl consider packing his kit, and handing it to him on his return, unless, as Axl suggests, he makes appropriate pennence to you and your lost golden nectar.

If it had been my lovely peach wine I would have done just that, Pat. I must say, though, it plucks your heart strings watching a man sobbing and moaning "Oh, all that lovely beer," as he mops up the floor. Serves him right say I!

Everyone once in a while bad things happen to good people... and then they have a beer to help them get over it! (Okay, that was bad, but I really couldn't help myself!) Guess you'll have to fully demonstrate what a committment you have to this relationship and make more beer! And I think that Axl has the right idea in you having tons of cash spent on you at the HB store to make that happen. YOU come out shining bright, all the way around.
