small batches

I have been thinking about trying my hand at beer for hubby. I would like to know if it works out to do small batches like I do with wine? I do gallon batches because I have health problems that make lifting,washing, stirring etc very painful. SO what do you think? Could I do small batches at least to start?

Absolutely, just as you can with wine, But If hubby is drinking it then hubby should be helping with the lifting and cleaning etc

Naw, I wasnt planning anything for Christmas just thinking about what I can do next year. Hubby does help but most of the time he is working and I am alone when I have the oportunity to do anything wine related(or beer) so I have to plan accordingly. Also he doesnt drink THAT much beer so there is no need to make a ton of it at this point.
