    Wow, that's one hell of a fast ferment, 3 days at my reckoning. You adding MLF to this one Bob?.
    And fancy letting the soccer interfere with the winemaking, they could have had the decency to change the game schedule .

      No MLF it wont work in this batch as its made with kit wine


      just a further note on 1st run....dont add sorbate as it reacts badly with MLF culture

          No...the 2nd runs always go quickly because there is a vibrant healthy yeast colony on the skins, so they just rip away, no lag phase for the yeasties, just almost immediate fermentation.

                        Well that's both second runs pressed and sorted, good colour extraction and both tasting rather pleasant, cheers Bob.
                        Just set the third run on the skins going using the concentrate from a white Grande Maison kit, another instantanious ferment, will wait to see what happens

                            Here we go not a great pic, just taken a glass off, hmm much darker than I was hoping for, must be a lot of colour left in the skins, possibly lighten once cleared maybe
