I'm sure they would be happy to....they will likely all be collecting grapes for themselves...
but we need to be well organised if more people are to come.
thoughts welcome on foodstuffs beverages etc, but we need to think of costs too, it is possible to do all sorts of things and factor the costs in, but would need to be careful that it doesnt spiral the cost per lb for the grapes too high.
Was thinking along the lines of live seminar/tutorials about grape wine making, we did that on an ad hoc basis last year, and it was possible because there were only a few to show how......
this year may be more bods and so it would need more planning....N.G.W.B.J.

Here's a suggestion Bob
Why not film it then edit into tutorials we (by we I mean Bob) can then create a new area on the forum for video tutorials and build up the resource. Then those people who are unable to attend can still benefit from the pearls of wisdom that reside in Bob's brain
Oh and I'll bring some food and beer along if required.

But I agree things need sorting now, names bodies etc, local B&B contact details for those who wish not to camp and are not local enough to taxi. Catering could be done by my good lady, free if only a few there but would have to be charged for if many are to show. Maybe a mini comp if we have judges at hand to encourage people ?? A wine making tutorial live in the afternoon to help with aftercare of the fermenting proceedure. A wine tasting hour with a few commercial versus home made??? And then later in the evening photographs of a sleeping narcolepticDiscount Home Brew Supplies

My Beetroot wine will be a year old by then, I might even have tidied the garage, and be able to get to it!
Who's bringing Parsnip wine? Could we have a fixed recipe, then have that as a comp for the day, Bob being the Judge?

The fact is we need a list of people who are going to attend, difficult at this point i know, but the more attending can make this a weekend to remember, come on guy's try to be early and give us some figures to work with, even if you decide not to purchase grapes it's got to be worth meeting other winemakers/enthusiasts. There's no profit to be made by wines at home, we do it for the fun and encouraging others to get involved.
Come on let us know who will be there?Discount Home Brew Supplies

Hmm I'm bumbeling, but I think Rich might be right, 1 glass with every meal, and alternate them 1 parsnip then 1 onion, it might just get him back on track.Discount Home Brew Supplies
