                Now, this COULD be intersting!!!

WE've just done a clearout of the Garage etc (moving the brewey/winery into there from inside the house; less 'GBH of the Earhole' this way!!!) and lo and behold guess what i have discovered - a 1 Gall demijohn of the first ever wine i made nearly 3 years ago (and the reason why i came here in the first place - see here for info http://www.winesathome.co.uk/forum/s...ead.php?t=1251 ). Now, assuming it hasn't been oxidised (seal still looks good on it) i take it this might be ok to bottle & drink? If, so, may bring a bottle up to GF for your opinions!

Oh, not long now!!! Any news on potential varieties and prices Bob? Sorry to be a pain to ask, but i've got a spare bit of money lying around at present and was going to put this away to pay for the GF grapes (deffo going 5 gal batches this year!) - especially in light of i could be changing jobs soon; in fact i've got the interview on Monday

                Cheers all,

                Dave.

1st grapes arrive at supplier on 26th August, so we should have an idea on pricing then....(we are still doing grapefest on Sept 25th)

I don't need to know what varietals everyone wants at this point, but I am organising transport and so need a rough idea how many boxes.....

please could you all give me an idea of how many boxes you will be having

                            ta muchly

I'm def taking Trebbiano and Ciliegiolo

Merlot if its available, and the Tempranillo looks interesting

50 of each (Going Pro this year...but starting small ish)

                                6 boxes Cab Sav
                                6 boxes Tempranillo
                                3 boxes Trebbiano
                                3 boxes Sangiovese

                                - obviously this will all change tomorrow
