These photos are from the Raspberry Melomel that I made in the late summer of 07 and just bottled now. Looks good enough to pour over some vanilla ice cream and enjoy it that way. There are 18 bottles - I like to use the flip top bottles for mead. The left over in the decanter is for drinking now. Great raspberry flavor and aroma. It was made with fresh then frozen raspberries from our urban garden. It is very drinkable now - mellow alcohol - great sharp raspberry taste - no measurements of acid or pH necessary with this batch before bottling it turned out great without any necessary adjustments. It will now age in the bottle for another 3-6 months before testing again. Daw
