  • I am now officially addicted to Mead

Well i am specificaly addicted to Melmonel

In the last few months i have made:

    2x Gallons of Apple/Pear/Plum/Blueberry Mead
2x Gallons of John's Ancient Spiced Mead
2x Galons of Rhubarb and Raspberry Mead

I just love the idea of Mead such a great idea.
There is a Honey/Mead show in my town coming up soon and I and hoping to take the day off work and go to it.

Anyone else moved from wines to Mead?

          We will see

If not i am going to go to buy some honey and hopefully find a supplier to buy around a gallon of honey every month or two.

Whereas, I, who can probably only make it on the Saturday, will probably have to throw the £12.00 at them - even though I have a local supplier.

It won't stop me seeing if I can get a few bits that the local bloke doesn't keep i.e. Buckwheat honey, for a start!

Besides, as it's "only" Weybridge, it's only an hours drive for me.

            regards

p.s. Oh and with me, it's the other way round, I started making meads first, and then started with wines later (and a few other things).
