  • Hi all. My name is Darrel and Im fram Eastbourne East Sussex.
Started my first batch of wine a couple of weeks back and im now on my second batch of Turbo Cider. (Have already drunk my first ) It was a bit rough and ready, but as far as I can tell that is the whole point of it

I work opposite a shop called Easybrew in Brighton so picked up all my bits from there. Currently Ive got a 6 bottle Youngs Chardonnay on the go which is clearing nicely. Next batch will be a 30 bottler as it doesnt seem much more work and as a daily drinker its easier, leaving my glass dj's for something a bit more special.

Anyway hello all and look forward to speaking to you.

          • Hi
Im Alan I live in south Lincolnshire I work in lincolnshire most of the time.
I have been making country wines for about a year with some failures but I still try.
I have a steam jucier and hope to make use of it in the summer this year.
Have picked up lots of tips from this forum so far.
I have made wurzels orange wine and waiting for it to mature someone on this forum surgests having a bottle every month sounds about right.
            Regards Alan:

Im a new wine maker in from sunny doncaster and only made a few batches of really easy stuff so far (ribena, rice, kits etc) but starting to be a little more adventurous now and its great fun... if not a little frustrating at times!
