Hi! I'm new here and finding this forum to be very friendly! My goal is to be like a sponge and "absorb" all the winemaking knowledge/expertise that I can from all of you.
I love country life, hiking, camping, spending time with family and friends, and winemaking!
I'm glad to see some familiar "sigs" on this forum, and hope that there is enough room for all the newbies that may be popping in!
Thought I would come over and check it out. Very Nice Bob!!! Well Done.
I've been making fruit, veg, and grape wines for quite some time and have alot of fun with it. Lots of you folks already know me and it is good to see friends here..
On Hippie's advice I've entered this site. I'm retired, living in So. La and make country wines only. Never have made a kit wine...maybe I'll give it a try one day.
Hi All, my name is Bill Benedetti,I live in middle Ga, I have been making wine for about 4 years now. I enjoy making Country wines, and a kit wine every now and then. Glad to see a few members I know here.

I noticed this is a UK forum, but at the risk of being unwelcome I joined anyway. I few personal items. My wife and I make wine at home in Oakland California, mostly from grapes grown by friends in their vinyards or purchased from regional wineries.
We belong to a club that features amature and pro winemakers, so we learned a tremendous amount pretty quickly. We make both stone fruit and grape wines. Several of our wines have won medals in competitions, including 2 golds for 2 entries at the Winemaker Magazine International competition last year.
