Pear wine for your first one? I looked at this too as I had an offer of lots of pears of a local tree.
One look at all the difficulties with clearing put me off it, well at least until next years Harvest! By then I should have some more experience.
Everyone here is very friendly and the advice is brilliant. So far all my wines that I have bottled have been drinkable........See the ribena thread though.........this could be the first one of my failures!
Hi there, I have got the home wine making buzz and have so far made two 6 bottle kits and a 30 bottle kit. I am really enjoying it so far! I have only made red wines but plan on trying to make sparkling rose soon so expect some newbie questions in the not too distant future
