Introduction
Hello all
Nice to be a member of the forum. I found it while searching for a supplier of Rondo grapevines...
I've been making fruit and occasional flower wines for many years now, with a pause when the children arrived 28 years ago (gone now). Couldn't work out why child #1 kept waking up in the evening, then saw the stain on the dining room ceiling below the cupboard in her room where the bottles were stored on their sides..... So that was it for winemaking for a while until they'd left home. Now back to making again and growing ~a dozen vines in the garden/wife's allotment. I'm experimenting with blending grapes and fruit, current favourite is a bit of blackberry, a hint of elderberry and a mix of red grapes. I've just been granted half a plot of my own, so will be ramping up the vine production.
It's all a bit mandraulic at present and I don't filter or sulphite, so I look forward to finding out some tips and tricks from you folk as well as sharing my disasters and successes with you
Chris
