    Quick question...
    If i view threads in the linear mode i may see 15 replys to threads and a second page but in hybrid mode there may only be 6 on one page.
    Do you recommend the linear mode for dummy's like me ?

      Hi Travman

      I think linear is the easiest to follow, but then thats simple old me

      as David says use whatever you find best.

      Welcome

        I can only handle linear. Otherwise I get lost and end up in Istanbul or Catmandu and I can never find the WC!

                Hi everyone,

                My name's michelle and i'm pretty new to winemaking but enjoying every minute of it. Started about 6 weeks ago and finished my first wine last week and was really pleased with it. At the moment i am making cherry brandy, rum, white wine and red wine (chianti) and would like to have a go at port. ( need all this for christmas with a big family....that's my excuse ). My favorite wine is Moscatel. I am happily married with 5 kids. 3 girls and 2 boys.

                  Welcome Michelle,
                  We hope you enjoy your time here.
                  for christmas you may wish to try Joe Mattiolis mead recipe listed on the forum, I think you may (just ) be able to get it ready in time.

                  please would you take the time to fill out your location info on your profile ....not your house No and street of course but just something as non specific as county/country...we are gathering members from around the world now.

                  regards

                    Hi all;

                    I am happy to see that the UK now has a great forum for discussing wine making.

                    I have been active on Winepress, and hope to see how things progress in the "old world". I hope that I can assist you in many ways, and that you, in turn, will be able to help me.

                              Hello, Canadian Citizen, married to American farmer...live in NW Minnesota, USA. New to this forum and fairly new to winemaking, have been reading alot and will be asking alot of questions. Make fruit and concentrate wines, lots of wild fruits, cultivate as many fruits as will grow here, trying to grow hardy grapes as well. Love this forum and the way things are worded, hung with alot of Brits when I lived in Toronto, Canada...Thanks and see you on The Web.
