  • Welcome Carol,

Hope you have an enjoyable time here. Have a look at the beginners forum. Wine #1 (a dry white) and Wine #2 (A medium Red) are both quite easy and very enjoyable recipes to get you started.

              • hello

                hi all.
Thanks for adding me. I am female and live in Suffolk. I've just started making country wines, mead, and 'turbo' cider. Great to find all the help here. Wish I'd seen Lockwood 1956's mead recipe before i'd started! Seems like a hassle free method, i'll definitely give it a try. (if i can find some reasonably priced honey.. ho hum). I know i'm going to find this forum useful, cheers everyone!

                              • Hi everyone,
just signed up after having taken a notion to try my hand at wine making. I have an allotment, so usually have some variety of fruit & veg, Therefore, I'd like to get into making some wine from those. I've lots of raspberries that'll be ready for picking soon and I have rhubarb in the freezer ... the usual glut of courgettes too. Hope to find some recipes for that type of thing
