    Welcome Pronay
Get a wine #1 or #2 in the five gallon, as soon as you get it...and it may be ready for xmas

I have joined this website to aquire some new skills in the art of wine making as my knowledge is basic and there is always somthing to be learned. so i hope i have come to the right place!!! every little helps.

          • Hi vasey, you certainly have come to the right place and we look forward to getting to know you better.

'First Steps' is a great book for learning the basics, just remember to ignore the amount of sugar advised in the recipes. Get a hydrometer and make a habit of making your SG (starting gravity) around the 1070 - 1080 mark and your wines will be much better for it.
