      I voted "yes."

I would certainly be there in mind and spirit, but probably not participate much in competitions. Too damned expensive for transatlantic post.

I to doubt whether I could participate due to distance but if possible I would love to receive constructive comment on what I do. I did vote yes though.

well, it's not that expensive if you send 250 ml (or so) in a PET bottle.

I recently found this out (sort of) because I've been flying back and forth to the UK from Germany with a 15 kg limit on luggage. I luckily thought of putting it all in PET bottles, and I save up to about 400 gr per 750 ml bottle. It's great! So, now I can get 8 wines in my suitcase instead of just 5(ish) (Don't forget, I have to pack underwear and a few clothes too!). It's absolutely wonderful, and the price drops dramatically.

We'd love international entries - however, also due to my traveling, I have realized that flying at 35,000 feet (roughly) is a great way of cold stabilizing my wines. The sediment drops like crazy. I could ask one of the coordinators of the vwc if we would be allowed to mark our wines as "international" so that sediment fallen would be taken into account.

Please please please consider! We'd love to make this the hugest wine circle ever!

Because all of the wines will arrive by post, the rules on clarity may need to be relaxed somewhat...we will find out as we go along.

I think we may also need to allow the wines a rest period before evaluation too.

                        Yes, cheeky you are.

My my.... but I can assure you that my undies are polyester, US bought (probably China or India made) and no German fibers are amongst them.

Now let's get back to topic. Virtual Wine Circle!

If you are hesitant about the Wine Circle, I want to let you know that the judges have strict instructions to give helpful replies in their assessment.

If you ask "Tell me more", I would urge you to ask your comments/critiques to us, so that we can make this a "Wine Circle for the People."

As you know, we'll be sending out the Juice Extraction DVD with the PET bottles for our first trial at the Virtual Wine Circle.

We'd appreciate it if you had some questions or comments about the talk.
