Apologies folks, just realised I'm double-booked

Shame, because my palette defintely needs educating. I promise to do the exercises on my own

I will try to attend today, although I can't make any 100% guarantees. The missus is threatening to drag me uptown to some arts & crafts fair to celebrate the father's day holiday.

I'm not exactly sure how that works. It's my holiday, but we end up doing only things that she likes.

Oh.... and no Weight Watchers wine available here. So I will be joining in with a full-fat Riesling. No, I realize it's not the same, but I should nevertheless be able to pick up on some of the same Riesling-esque qualities. And what the hell, it's an opportunity to drink mid-afternoon.

Sorry I couldn't make it either. Out with friends last night. Will do my best next time though. The wine for tasting sounds nice!

I hope you had more fun than me. I was forced to watch a film I didn't want to watch.

And I couldn't drink on account of being in charge of a motor vehicle.

You poor thing, I did do rather better than that. Had Indian takeaway with friends and I opened a bottle of rather nice red wine that we brought back from France a few years ago. In the interests of research of course to see if it was ready to drink. Pity only one other person there who drinks red wine so we had to drink the whole bottle ourselves! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!
