Well I voted Sunday evening, less likely for people to be out socialising than on a Fri/Sat night.

        Sunday evening sounds good.

But, I'm now working shifts again, so it all depends on that.

Sorry for not being around last night, family weekend this weekend

TBH Monday to Thursday evenings are all okay for me; weekends are a bit more tricky.

I voted for Sunday at 7:30 but any time on weekends is fine for me.

Weekdays just simply wouldn't work. We are 6 hours behind in the states, and I think my place of employment might frown upon me having a virtual wine tasting at 1:30 in the afternoon on their time.

                I didn't vote
I work a rotational shift pattern, so it varies from week to week for me.

I voted for Saturday, but any weekend day would be fine with me. I usually work til 7:30 (if I'm out punctually, which I am almost never) during the week, so I voted for the weekends. But if it works out better for everyone else during the week, I'd just come late.

I haven't voted because I can adapt to any time to suit the majority

Without trying to alienate some of the more experienced members, I would have thought that the 'newcomers' votes should the ones that count most as these are the people that you are trying to aide/advise.

Given this looks like a near as damn it even split would it not be a good idea to alternate it Sat/Sun?

It would be a shame if people where excluded because they work a certain day? Or would that be confusing?

well alternating might be an option, but you hit the nail on the head with it perhaps being confusing, but there again maybe not, we "could" rotate the days

                        thoughts everyone?

I have a request that will accomodate my shift system/pattern. I cant make the next meeting (nights) but if the one after was in 3 or 5 weeks time, then every 4 weeks then i would be able to attend all meetings.

I know you cant fix meeting dates for the sake of 1 person but weekends are the way to go, its just a matter of which weekend.
