    I have my labels now
I am a bit on the busy side for the next week... but will try to get these in the post before next Friday.

Confident people love to see you walk taller

Daft question from me, and sorry if it is explained somewhere (I have looked promise).

I want to enter 2 wines both red in colour so I guess they go to the open - one is a raspberry which I think is medium and a strawberry that is dry. DO I have to class them - I don't thoink I could class them as med/dry or is it an SG reading - which I can check?

      2nd que...

What is everyone doing when they say "preping the wine"? I w2as just going to sterilise the bottles and do the labelling thing?

      Thanks,
      Pam

Just give as close a guestimate as you can, dry med or sweet will do, it is just so the judge can start with the dry wines and work towards the sweet.

Preparing the wine is basicaly labeling, bottle polishing etc

If you aren't comfortable with making the dry/med/sweet assessment then just pop the SG reading on the label below the cover line, that will do nicely

Thats pretty much it...but see here
The Labels should be with you soon for the wine competition on August 15th 2009 in conjunction with Pontefract Open show. Please label and fill as shown in the picture, label to be placed with the bottom of the label just above the ridge at the bottle base, and in between the bottle seams. Fill the bottles to the rim as

Is there a bottle limit per person? We have a 3rd strange one that could go into the open - it is however, an acquired taste. I find it reminiscent of a table version of Tokay.

Send as many as you like.....

the more the merrier, just remember we need to know if it is dry medium or sweet (or have the SG on the label (below the cover line)

I think we may have quite a few entries (I'm excited about it.)
                      regards

                        lol

no...12 bottles arrived back with me

12 is great so far considering the labels only went out a couple of days ago
