Silly question time. Ive just made 2 gallon batches of wine no 1. They both had exactly the same make juice's, from the same batch, exactly the same amount of sugar, identical PET Demijohns and started within 15 mins of each other. They were put in the airing cupboard next to each other. Basically they were treated identically.
Problem is one has only just finished fermenting 1 week after the other and the colour of them are completly different. Ive no doubt it will taste alright as ive had wine no1 come out all differnt colours before, but im just curious as to why they should be so different?
