I am debating opening something red....
Yesterday was my brothers wedding, so today, I have been feeling rather fragile....
I might have a hot chocolate....

            Wimp.

180 mile drive home, quick 2 hours nap, then opened the first bottle for this evening's BBQ.

Modified Fruity Karl - coming along nicely.

Wine No.1 + Gooseberry - still 'the' Wine No.1 modification in my opinion.

            • Very nice outside tonight (we've had nothing but rain for the last month it seems), so I am taking advantage and sitting on the patio enjoying a nice glass of Grenache.

It has been odd weather here......
                Rained for a fortnight....
Then one glorious day on Friday
                And Saturday was miserable again

Misterious ways , but thankfully so

                So still drinking the Pinot Noir, just in case . . .. . . . . .

I don't think so. I will post both in the Recipes section ASAP.

                      • Mint wine, chilled, perfect on a close summer night.

All the mint from our garden.

                        • Last night:

Gaymers cider. Mass-produced rubbish, but a) easily retrieved from our fridge, and b) cold

Some Choc Rasp Port, accompanying some raspberry cheesecake. A good combination.

A glass or two of a commercial Sangiovese, sat in the back garden in the near-dark, listening to the iPod, contemplating the latest of many power cuts

Tweaked Beaverdale Rioja goes very well with Inspiral Carpets
