Tonight a 2009 Seyval/Muscat Blend 90/10 very nice, quite aromatic and with a little mineral quality...acid still a tad high even though it has had attention on that front....
but a very pleasant dropN.G.W.B.J.

Tonight, I've got some Glenfiddich 'Rich Oak' on offer at Asda, tastes very good. It's been aged in new American oak barrels and new Spanish oak barrels.
Whilst listening to the silence, as the all the girls are in bed.

2 year old rice 'n' raisin ala CJJ Berry (more or less). makes me want to light a fire, break out the didge and forget I have neighbours. But I remembered them, lucky for them as its 2.30 am.
anyway the wine is just dandy, tho not an everyday drop, match with the mood or whatever, and do wait a couple of years cos it really comes together. tho if you use a tasteless rice it won't, so choose wisely! To most people solutions mean answers. To chemists solutions are things that are mixed up.
A fine wine is a fine wine, 1st time may be by accident, 2nd time is by design - that's why you keep notes.

Bottle number 2: '07 Pinot Noir. Haven't had one of these in several months. It's funny how a little age just completely changes a wine. It was crap last time I opened one - very closed up, no aroma, somewhat bitter. Tonight's it's quite nice. Maybe it's just bottle number 1 talking.Steve

Nothing at the moment, but potentially in a few days, some of this:
Under six quid a bottle if you order 2 or more, it is fantastic stuff, highly recommended. Apparently they haven't got much of the 2007 left, so grab it while you can. I would say that I have absolutely nowhere to store it, but I'm beginning to sound like a stuck recordPete the Instructor
